With KAFD, we want to give a voice to the democratic majority. Together, we can show our stance.
As creatives, we know that freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and the observance of human rights are indispensable foundations for creative work. Good design, good art, good music, and good texts are based on human kindness, tolerance, and humane interaction, never on exclusion or marginalization.
We are concerned with the question of how design and art can actively counter the rightward shift in our society, what we as creative professionals can do to protect and strengthen our democracy and our Europe.
Perhaps we can achieve this with good design: So, we founded a fashion label and are starting with a small collection of very high-quality items.
KAFD is a fashion statement. KAFD is much more a political statement. That’s why KAFD is #politicalfashion.
